About Us
Founded in 2008, Manling Dance School is committed to develop students’ interest in learning dance, promoting children’s dance art, and cultivating more children’s dance art talents in a standardized, systematic, comprehensive and scientific manner. The school pays special attention to the individual differences of students. We provide students a professional and pleasant environment for learning dance, and a great stage to learn beauty, experience beauty and show beauty.
Through continuous exploration, practice, innovation and accumulation, the school based on people-oriented, children’s physiology and acceptability, to develop students’ creative ability. We teach dance class with Royal Ballet course and the Chinese Dancers Association grading course. Meantime, the school combined the classical music loved by North American teenagers and the original dance created by our school. The basic skills training are also integrated into it.
Encouraging teaching is adopted, and a relatively complete teaching system is gradually formed. We have been working hard to cultivate dance art talents with solid professional foundation, excellent moral character, high comprehensive quality and sustainable development ability. The twice-a-year large-scale performances and a number of high-level performances enhance students’ self-confidence and accumulate students’ stage performance experience. 报名须知
1）首堂试课，家长可以进入观摩试课过程。请务必提前致电/email或者直接来我校预约。试课之后当场注册并缴纳学费，免收试课费。未当场报名则需支付相应的试课费，所缴费用可用于未来注册时抵扣学费，相当于试课免费。已经是我校学生的其他家庭成员（仅限小孩）前来试课，或者已经是我校学生想再试其他课程，不再另收试课费，试课完全免费。
2）确定报名之后在我校工作人员的协助下办理入学手续，需填写报名表并缴纳相应学费。
3）凡新生第一次报名须缴纳注册费$10 (按家庭计算）。
4）3个月为一个学期，一年4个学期，通常一个学期12堂课左右。（公众假期不上课，春假和暑假正常上课）
5）所有课程的学费均按学期收取（3个月），请在收到学校统一发放的缴费单之后以支票或者现金的形式缴纳学费。
6）请家长在上课期间于学校等待室等候，如想参观授课，需先经由校方许可。（第一次试课除外）
7）家长务必提前5分钟到教室门口等待学生下课，并在下课之后及时接走，如因特殊情况无法按时到校接学生，请一定提前通知学校并告知任课老师。
8）如需请假，在课前通过电话或者电邮形式通知校方，方可安排补课，每学期最多可安排2次补课。所缺课程需在同一学期内补完，如在期末请假，则在下期初补完，如未能在课前请假或者在规定时间内完成补课，即视为自动放弃，学费不予退还亦不可顺延至下个学期。回国/出国度假3周或以上；生病需休养3周或以上（需提供Doctor Notes)；如有其他特殊原因获得校方认可，学费也可以顺延。钢琴声乐课等一对一课程如需请假，必须提前24小时通知钢琴老师，方可安排补课或者学费顺延。
9）学生上课时需按规定着装（穿我校舞蹈练功服、舞蹈鞋和长筒袜）。尽量梳起或盘起头发，不要佩戴任何饰物。舞蹈练功服在报名时可自行选择购买（$60押金/件），学满一年还是我校学生的可以凭押金卡抵扣学费，相当于舞蹈服免费赠送，押金卡请妥善保管，遗失不补。
10）每年两次演出实践课，不参加演出即视为自动放弃实践课，学费不予退还或顺延。
11）凡公众假期依例休息，如遇特殊天气如暴风雪或不可抗力的自然灾害，依教育局公布停课的，全校亦停课，学费不予退还和延期。校方亦会将每一季度的放假时间贴在学校门口以供参考。
